How to Load Paper in the C910

First pull the tray out of the printer that needs paper loaded into it.

Second push down on the Lift Plate until it locks in the down position.

Third pull the Rear Paper Support out of the way so you can load paper.

Fourth load paper onto the Lift Plate making sure not to overfill.

Fifth slide the Side Restaints snuggly against the edge of the paper.

Sixth now push the Rear Paper Support up against the end of the stack of paper. Making sure it locks in place at the location on the tray representing the paper size being used.

Lastly push the tray back into the printer. Push the tray gentley until it stop then press it firmly into place. This will allow the Lift Plate to pop up into posisition. Do not use to much force with doing this. If the tray is slammed to hard into the printer or to much force is used when pushing the tray back in place the printer will not feed correclty. If the tray is pushed to hard back into the printer this will happen. The picture below shows what happens if the tray is slammed to hard back into the printer. This can also happen from not pushing the Lift Plate down before pushing the tray into the printer. Anytime the tray is pulled out of the printer the Lift Plate must be locked in the down position before pushing it back into the printer.

There is also a label on the tray that indicated levels of paper supported in the tray.

Here are charts that show all the paper weights and their supported stack heights in each of the locations in the printer.
