HRMR Cycle:

Campus Representative Duties:
  • Secure at least one HRMR MENtorper classroom.
  • Inform teachers and staff about the HRMR program.
  • Provide any training necessary to teachers and staff members about the HRMR program.
  • Maintain campus information regarding the number of students and classrooms serviced by HRMR.
  • Maintain and submit to District Coordinator an excel spreadsheet with names of MENtors and email addresses.
  • Store all HRMR program books and ancillary materials on campus.
  • Create a welcome packet for the MENtors which will include a bell schedule, a map of the school, and any other necessary materials.
  • Provide ongoing communication with MENtors regarding any information pertaining to their visit on campus. (e.g. reminder of upcoming reading and thank you letter after reading).
  • Facilitate the MENtor visit, monitor HRMR classrooms, and have a Hospitality Room available for MENtors.
  • Inform District Coordinators of any events that will affect the HRMR program.
  • Attend four (4)MANDATORY HRMR Meetings/Training Sessions (e.g. Two (2) in the fall and two (2)in the spring).

*Considering the amount of duties a Campus Representative will have to undertake, the district recommendation is to select one or two persons with a flexible schedule.
The campus will provide:

*If MENtors sign up directly through the district office, campus representatives will be notified of their availability. Otherwise campus representatives are required to secure their own HRMR MENtors. / Our Mentors (please include names and contact information).
