Indicates New Matter

The House assembled at 12:00 noon.

Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:

Our thought for today is from Psalm 80:19: “Restore us, O Lord God Almighty; that we may be saved.”

Let us pray. Renew us with Your breath, O God, that we might continue with the opportunities You have given us to represent the people. Give these men and women new insights on serving. Provide them every needful thing. Preserve our Nation, President, State, Governor and all leaders. Keep our defenders of freedom safe as they protect us. In the name of our Lord, we pray. Amen.
