School Council
The children have been electing representatives from their classes to be on the School Council. The School Council has a meeting every 2 weeks to discuss items the children raise from their class councils. The School Council was set up to enable the children at Wreningham VC Primary to have a say in the running of their own school. In this way, our children have a greater sense of belonging, become more confident when putting forward ideas and develop a greater understanding of the need to work co-operatively for the good of others.
The School Council officers are as follows:
Chairperson / Toby Alexander / Treasurer / Jack BroadVice Chair / Isaac Silver / Publicity / Katie Bilham
Secretary / Alice Gibbons / ECO Warriors / Becky Dowrick

National Poetry Day Thursday 6th October
The school is committed to ensuring children are taught to read independently and effectively for meaning and we are always keen to find ways to enthuse the children to read. To support this we have booked the Garlic Theatre to do a performance of ‘Little Red Robin Hood!’ in the school Monday 3October. We hope the children enjoy the show and it will be used to encourage the children to read and write poetry through the week in English.
