The School Holiday Program is a fun, inclusive and flexible program for children aged 5 to 12 years who are attending primary school. A range of activities and experiences are on offer everyday that build upon your child’s skills, knowledge and understanding, as well as their curiosity and imagination. Professional and qualified staff are on hand to help children build their cooperation skills, respect and independence, all the while ensuring they enjoy their holidays in a safe, fun and welcoming environment.

$55 per non-excursion/centre based day.

Excursion A is charged at $67

Excursion B is charged at $72

Excursion C at $77

Big Day Out is charged at $85 and is an optional excursion for the first 30 Grade 4/5/6’s who book.

Some days require the children to bring money for a lunch, or an extra activity – see the program for when this is requested.

Once your enrolment form has been lodged you are obliged to pay for ALL DAYS ticked regardless of non-attendance or sickness, unless cancellation is received by our office in writing by 5pm Monday 12th September 2016.

FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE PROGRAM.

REFUNDS

There will be NO REFUNDS or exchange of days.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING?

All children need to come to the program with healthy play lunch, lunch, afternoon tea, fruit and a ‘named’ drink each day (no soft drinks). Please ensure that children bring food which doesn’t require refrigerating or heating. Please let the supervisor know if your child has any allergies or reactions to certain foods. It is recommended that you do not pack any nuts or eggs in your child’s lunchbox.

Appropriate clothing should be worn (comfortable clothes) during program. A raincoat must be packed for unexpected wet weather. Please ensure children wear appropriate footwear at the holiday program. No thongs or singlets.

TRANSPORT

All excursion buses are booked through McHarrys Buslines. Where stated community buses or council cars may be used. Children may walk or ride for some excursions. This is stated at the program.

ADMINISTERING MEDICATION

Medical conditions must be outlined in the enrolment information for each child, where applicable. Current medical action plans must be updated & submitted each year together with a risk minimisation plan where necessary. All medication must be signed in and given to staff each day. All medication must be in the original package labelled with the Child’s name clearly identified. All medication must be within its use by date.

SUNSMART

Please ensure your child has a broadbrim hat with them everyday of the holidays.

BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT

The holiday program staff will work with families to support positive behaviour of all the children.

CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS

CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel any bookings it is required to be in writing to the centre. If a cancellation is received prior to 5pm Monday 12th Septfees related to that booking will no longer be charged and this will be confirmed by the City of Greater Geelong.
If you do not have a response by the Wednesday 14th September, please contact 5272 4741. Any cancellation received after Monday 12th September, at 5pm will be charged at daily fee.
Fees will still apply even if care is not used.
HOW TO BOOK
1.Bookings received prior to Monday12th September by 5pm will be processed in date order and in accordance with DEEWR’s “Priority Access Guidelines”.
2.Enrol online at or in person at Ariston House, Pakington St Geelong West
3.A confirmation letter and invoice will be issued within 7 days of enrolling. Where possible we email and mail out this information. An invoice is confirmation your child/ren are enrolled in the program.
HOW TO PAY
You will receive an estimated invoice which will contain payment information.
Payments are due prior to attending the program.

Today we will ride to Barwon Valley Fun Park and then to The Big Hill Mountain bike park at Balliang.

We are going to learn some dance moves today..so get ready for a dance off!!
Party Games: Pass the Parcel. Bobs and Statues, Fairy Bread
Dazzling Dan the Magic Man from 3pm will also visit us today and amaze us with magic!

Today we are off to Torquay - Cozy Corner to have a BBQ and hang at the Elephant Park

Tuesday 27th September 2016 Big DAY OUT (BDO) - GRADE 4/5/6 Optional excursion. We’re heading to Queenscliff for some games, have a snack and then on the Ferry to Sorrento - Professor Brain will entertain us with his funky science experiments! Lunch and more games on the beach! 30 children only. 8:30am – 5pm
Wednesday 28th / SKATE DAY and MASTERCHEF BELMONT BAKE OFF!
The City of Greater Geelong will visit us with their skate ramps - bring your scooter, skates and skateboards!
In the afternoon we will play Masterchef and have the Great Belmont Bake off
