Characteristics of Austin as a player

  • Austin has great work ethic. In the summer we had very busy schedule for basketball and Austin was at a lot of these sessions. The only time he missed was when he went to other basketball camps or he had a big time AAU tournament. This shows his love of the game and the drive that he has to be the best player he can be.
  • Austin is a tough competitor. He would do anything in his power to help his team win the game.
  • Austin is a great defender. He understands the game very well which helps him a lot defensively. Austin does a great job challenging shots and being a physical force in the paint.
  • Austin is a great rebounder. He does a great job rebounding on the defensive and offensive glass. He averaged 8 rebounds a game as a sophomore.
  • Austin is a great shooter. He has great range and is very efficient from the 3 point line. Austin also has a great pull up game. He has a great tendency to hit big game shots when our team needs a big basket.
  • As a freshman, Austin was our teams sixth man. He played this role extremely well which is tough for a freshman to do.
  • Austin worked very hard the summer going into his sophomore year. His stats rose dramatically his sophomore year season. Austin was a key player and relied on a lot by his teammates and for our teams success.
  • Even though Austin is 6’4 he is very versatile. He can help bring up the ball against pressure, does a great job playing in the half court as a guard, and he developed a nice postgame where he is very efficient when he gets the ball on the block. He can score very well in the post and is a talented post passer.
  • Austin shows great dedication for the game of basketball. He is a very hard worker. Due to this he has great potential to become a very good basketball player. He is constantly improving and I think the sky is the limit for his potential.

If you have any questions you are more than welcome to contact me on Austins behalf.
