UK duo HONNE has released a new version of album title-track 'Warm On A Cold Night,' featuring breakout Portland rapper Aminé (whose track 'Caroline' has now surpassed 200 million streams). This comes ahead of a US tour - featuring HONNE's first appearance at Coachella - and worldwide festival dates including Secret Garden Party and Melt Festival. The band is also currently hard at work on new material. Their debut album “Warm On A Cold Night” is out via Atlantic Records.

Describing the collaboration with Aminé, HONNE write: “'Y'all are amazing'. That's the message we first received from Aminé back in early 2016. The feeling was mutual and we continued a conversation over the next few months. ‘Warm On A Cold Night’ has always been one of our favourites, and we thought there couldn't be a better way to round off the first album than to re-release the track with one of our favourite artists to come out in the last couple of years. We met him for the first time recently when he came over for his London show, which was sick. We hung in our studio and showed each other our new music. His album is going to be dope!”

Likewise, Aminé had also long admired HONNE’s work, explaining: "I listened to this song for about a year and a half as a fan. Super glad they let a fan be a part of one of their classics. Shoutout HONNE, that's fam."

HONNEare singer Andy and multi-instrumentalist James, who first bonded over their shared upbringing in South-West England; followed by the more evocative, US West Coast grooves of their record collections, and a mutual fascination with Japan. During a midnight re-watching of ‘Lost in Translation,’ it became apparent that this sense of a partner at a loose end - of wandering through a strange environment, and struggling to convey what you mean - was just as relevant to their lives off-screen. When James found the word ‘Honne’ later on (a Japanese phrase meaning ‘true feelings’), the boys knew it was theirs. The first songHONNEever finished, 'Warm On A Cold Night', also served as the title for their stunning debut album. And, between the millions of stream and sell-out shows since then, the soulful duo have carved out an instantly-identifiable sound all of their own.
