What Was Done / What Was Learned / What To Do Differently
Goal: People supported have meaningful connections within their communities.
Step 1: All people supported, through the ELISP/ISP process, have a goal with specific steps developing, maintaining, or strengthening non-paid relationships. If a goal does not exist, then a Discussion Record explains why it is not an important component of this person’s life.
Key Result Area (KRA) #2 – PCL is a Great Place to Work – PCL has a mission based culture and there is mutual respect between management, team members, those we support, and their families.
Goal: All PCL Team Members participate in welcoming new Team Members and participate in Team Development.
Step 1: Welcoming New Team Members process has been established and implemented.
Step 2: When asked during a Director’s Visit, staff are able to explain how they welcome new Team Members.
Step 3: The team completes a team development activity qrtly, onboarding activity, team building activity, trainings from the Team Development Toolbox, etc.
Key Result Area (KRA) #3 – PCL is a Great Community Partner – PCL is known throughout Oregon for our great services and positive community contributions. Evidenced by Team Members and those we support are participating in and giving back through community involvement and/or active volunteerism.
Goal: Quarterly all people supported participate in community support activities, neighborhood activities, and/or volunteerism.
Step 1: Team identifies, schedules, and participates with the people we support in opportunities for community involvement, neighborhood activities, and/or volunteerism while educating about PCL’s mission, wearing PCL shirts, etc.
Step 2: Pictures sent for Caught in the Act, Newsletter, website.
Key Result Area (KRA) #4 – PCL is a Great Steward of Our Resources – All PCL Team Members have one Board Directive goal that specifically reflects that they are good stewards of PCL’s resources.
Goal: Teams will develop a goal around safety measures or vehicle safety to maintain a safe work environment.
Options: Review Safety Mtg. min., address qrtly Safety Checklist, stretching, no item at the home/site repaired or replaced due to misuse, disappearing, or unexplained damage, info. from SAIF is discussed, etc.
