The cost for group lessons is $150.00 for 5 sessions ($125 for shelter or rescue dogs). Each lesson will last approximately 50 minutes to one hour.

Important Information
· Classes are held at At Home Animal Hospital.
· Make sure your dog has a well-fitted buckle collar and/or head halter. Choke chains, prong collars or e-collars are not used in our classes. A four or six-foot leather, nylon or cotton leash is preferred. Retractable leashes, chains or ropes are not allowed.
· Please bring small, soft, smelly treats to class each week. Soft jerky treats, hot dogs, or cheese cut into very small pieces is preferred. Small, strong-smelling treats work best for training. Do not feed your dog 4 hours prior to class.
· All dogs and puppies must be current on their vaccinations, as appropriate to their age. Bordatella (kennel cough vaccination) is recommended, but not required. Please bring proof of vaccinations to your first class. Please make sure that your dog is on flea and/or tick prevention and is free of parasites. Any dog that is ill, has fleas and/or ticks or presents a potential danger to people or other dogs may be asked at the instructor’s discretion not to participate.
· Please do not bring children younger than six to class. Children between the ages of six and nine may attend with a parent. Children who are ten and older may handle their own dogs at the discretion of the instructor, but a parent must be present. We ask that your children sit quietly and not interact with other dogs during class instruction.
· No refunds will be made after the first class. A refund will be made only if cancellation notice is received at least 48 hours before the scheduled time of the first class. Refund checks will be mailed to you and take about two weeks to process. Please try to attend all of the scheduled classes.

Release of Liability
I certify that this dog has been inoculated against distemper, and parvovirus. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the training class policies. In addition, there is no smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed in the training facility.
I understand that there will be no cash refunds made. However, in case of prolonged illness of dog or handler, with a veterinarian’s/doctor's statement, the class may be made up within six (6) months.
I assume responsibility for any injury or accident involving my dog, whether by way of injury to my dog or injure to others or the property of others by my dog. In the event of such an injury involving my animal, I will be responsible for same. I acknowledge that my dog is being trained at my own risk. I further acknowledge that I assume the risk involved in being present at a dog training facility and I release At Home Animal Hospital and trainer from any claim for injury or damage to me or my property including, but not limited to my dog as a result of the actions of any other person or any animals occurring as a result of my being involved in dog training activities.
