Call to Order; attendance

  • Matt Merkel (Tidewater), Kurt Nachtman, Sam Hannigan, James Harlow

Status of landscaping proposals

Tree replacement; should the Board consider an additional phase of tree replacement (Waterview Way)?

  • Price to remove, price to replace dead trees around tot lot.
  • Add price for tot lot mulch and clean-up.
  • Clean graffiti from signage.

Status of Spring/Summer newsletter

Schedule Dumpster Day.

  • Sam/Matt to investigate availability of Baltimore County funds. Possible fall date.

Newsletter should be sent by June 15 with Dumpster Day date (if possible).

Emphasis placed on spring maintenance and committee issues (request for volunteers).

Schedule Spring HOA Meeting at Community Center

  • Matt to schedule at Stemmer’s Run Center ASAP.

Financial Update – Will Foster, Treasurer

List of Baltimore County auction properties; can we collect liens? How?

  • 1900 Mars Run filed Chapter 7, whereby the lien was extinguished. The HOA has no recourse. 3 other properties are up to date or pending the tax sale for resolution of debts.

Change of collection agents. Winegrad & Hess to Chesapeake Collections.

  • The Board has opted to terminate the Winegrad & Hess contract for non-performance and transfer all accounts to Chesapeake Collections.

Review of PSN snow removal costs. Future action?

  • Will pay remainder of bill upon receipt of daily work orders/tickets.

Covenant Issues – James Harlow, President

Fence, decks and pools/hot tubs. Be on the lookout. Address in newsletter.

Grass; continue to send letters. Tidewater to send lawn cutter (for $10, bill the owner $25) after notice.

Notice for damaged/rotting wood surfaces. Need to be kept clean/repaired. This is a newsletter item.

Landscaping Committee, vacant

Painting/Repair of “WaterView” signs at entrance to community. Should the Board entertain proposals?

  • Tidewater Maintenance to offer a proposal.

Need grass mowed behind 228 and 230 Seamaster (behind church).

Neighborhood Watch Committee, Kurt Nachtman

Update as to the latest crime activity in the community.

Garage break-ins have become too common. Include issue in newsletter.

Hospitality and Welcoming Committee, Lisa Harlow

Open discussion about Spring/Fall community festival. Financially feasible?

Website update

Update financial information and committee links page

  • Board discussed Facebook page. We will create one.

Request volunteers for committee memberships

Review, complete pending ARC requests.

  • We need two new Board members to replace Tim and Will.
