TEACHING ASSISTANT – 1 YEAR FIXED TERM - SEPT 16 TO AUGUST 17

Band 6, Points 16-18

30 hours per week/term time only

Required from September 2016an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage1, Year 2.

Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team. They should also be prepared to support children within the classroom and work with groups or individual children with additional needs, as required.

Applicants should

  • be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.
  • have a high standard of spoken and written English.
  • be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.
  • be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.
  • be willing to run an extra curricular club.
  • be willing to undertake rota break and lunch duty on a weekly basis.
