ARTIST BIO (125 words)
Songwriter and activist John Flynn calls himself a “hopeful pessimist”.

The pessimism comes from an honest clear-eyed assessment of the condition of the world we live in. The hope comes from a deep-rooted faith in the beauty and resilience of the human spirit. In an artist of Flynn’s caliber, the tension inherent in these seemingly contradictory points of view yields the kind of songs that moved Kris Kristofferson to compare Flynn to the best writers he knows, and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott to boast “John Flynn is the John Lennon of the plasma generation!”

Of Flynn’s new CD, Two Wolves, Chris Spector of Midwest Record Recap writes “Flynn might well be one of the greatest hidden treasures the Americana axis has to discover and offer.””.

[MSOffice1]I am not sure if TV shows should be in italics or not. Same comment goes for “Kid’s Corner” above. Dick

[MSOffice2]I am not sure what is proper these days, but I was always taught to separate sentences with 2 spaces after the period. Six were already that way, so for consistency I made the other 28 or so the same.

Also, to be consistent, titles of publications (and CDs) should be in italics, while song titles should be in “parenthesis”.

Also, there is a fair amount of space at the top and bottom. Would it be better to have it all on one page?

THESE ARE MY COMMENTS ONLY, NOT HERMETTA’S, SO BETTER LET HER COMMENT ALSO! Dick
