Today (Wednesday) during advisory, all girls who are on the 7th and 8th grade volleyball, field hockey and soccer teams are to report directly to the auditorium after 7th period class. Miss Kate Turner, the wellness director at the Haverford 'Y' will make a presentation to you about hydration and proper performance nutrition.

The cross country team will travel to Garnet Valley today (Wednesday) for their fourth meet of the season. All runners should report to Gym D right after school dressed in their uniform and ready to run. Please see Mrs. Young or Mr. Wagner before the end of the day with any questions.

Reading Olympics is back! Come by the library after school tomorrow (Thursday), October 22nd. We're going to book it up.

Interested in being a part of the morning news broadcast, Ford Focus? Come to a brief informational meeting tomorrow (Thursday), immediately after school in the library lab. You must bring a signed application and permission slip to attend. Stop in the technology office for an application, or look online under Activities/Clubs.

Do you love France, fromage and baguettes? If so, come to French Club tomorrow (Thursday) after school in Mrs. Alls room 165 to celebrate la Bastille.

Our first BuildUp Club meeting is tomorrow (Thursday). Meet in Mrs. S's room 101. Remember to come at 7:10am OR come at 2:30pm after school. New members are always welcomes! Hope to see you there!

The 7th grade boy's soccer team ripped off two back to back shut out victories against E.T.R. and Beverly Hills. Goals were scored by Benji Morse, Jon Meyer, Chip Campbell, Phil U, Jake Coneys, and a 3 piece of goals by Curtis Weh . Thursday the boys take on league rival Garnet Valley. Come on out and support them at Lynnewood field.

The Fords unlimited football team defeated E.T. Richardson yesterday, 31-0 in a great team win. Trey Blair scored three touchdowns and threw for one, while Colin Ney tallied two scores. The offensive and defensive lines played a strong game and received contributions from each player. Linebackers Chasen Wint and Darren McClatchy led the defense to their first shutout of the year. Great job Fords!

From the HMS Cheerleaders: Great job Fords Football! You made it easy to cheer you on against ET Richardson yesterday! The HMS Gold Cheer Squad was excited to show their spirit as they cheered you on at the game. F-O-R-D-S, Let's go FORDS!!

The 8th grade boys' soccer team beat ET Richardson 6 to 0 on Monday. Goals were scored by Declan S., Jack R., Tim C., Teddy ""The Bear"" DelDuca and two by Trey E.

The 8th grade boys' soccer team rallied from a halftime deficit to beat a tough Beverly Hills team on Tuesday 4 to 2. Goals were scored by Evan C., Jack R., Trey E., and Aidan T. Will Marcuse played outstanding on defense.

The 7th grade girls' soccer team won against Beverly Hills yesterday. Lola continues her scoring streak with a header for a goal. Great saves by Taylor F on defense and Emma H in goal. Jessica M showed off her skills with some amazing corner kicks. Shout out to the 8th grade girls' soccer team for their spot-on cheering!
