UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP
The University Grants Commission will hold the National Eligibility Test (NET) for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship in Indian Universities and Colleges.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC, .The SC/ST/PH/VH Categories Candidates with 50% marks are eligible
AGE LIMIT: -
For JRF (NET) : - Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2010 (Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years as in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants).
DATE OF TEST: -The test will be held on Sunday, the 27th June,2010
TEST CENTRE: - Jammu is one of the specified test centres.
EXAMINATION FEE: - General - Rs.450/-, other backward classes (OBC) – Rs.225/-, SC/ST/ physically or visually handicapped – Rs.110/-The candidate is expected to fill the Bank challan form, of State Bank of India.

UNION SERVICE PUBLIC COMMISSION
NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMYEXAMINATION (II), 2010
The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and naval Academy Examination (II), 2010 on 22nd August ,2010 for admission to Army ,Navy and Air force Wings of NDA for 126th Course and Naval Academy for 88th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) Commencing from 30th June,2011.
Salient features of the examination are published herein for general information of candidates. For details regarding the Syllabus and Scheme of the examination, Centers of examination, Guidelines for filling up application form etc. aspirants must consult the Detailed Notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 20th March,2010.
Conditions of Eligibility
(a) Age limit ,Sex and Marital Status:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st January, 1995 are eligible.
(b) Educational qualifications:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class Pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board of a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course of Naval Academy:-12th Class Pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or Equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(iii) Candidates who are appearing in 12th Class under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination cal also apply for this examination.
Physical Standarad:
Candidates must be physically fir according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II),2010 as given in Appendix-V of Commission ,s Notice for the Examination published in Employment news/Rozgar Samachar dated 20th March,2010
How to Apply
(a) Candidates who wish to apply off-line must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices ( Specified in Appendix-111 of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees twenty only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination
