2017 TEAM RULES

1. Any player disrespecting a coach or an official will be punished accordingly
2. No Profanity!
3. Attendance at every practice and game is mandatory unless you:
a. Have a legal absence from school
b. Have prior approval from Coach Zerbe
1. Failure to comply with the above policy will result in a HALF game suspension for every practice or game missed.
c. Any player missing a non school day practice must text or call coach Zerbe prior to the start time of practice
d. any player that misses practice the day before a game for an illegal absence will not start in the that game.
4. All players are expected to be on the field for practice by the time listed on the schedule.
a. Any player not on time for practice must report to the coach when they arrive.
b. Two unexcused late’s from practice will result in a half game suspension.
5. Academics are your first priority. Your ineligibility hurts you and the team. If you need help with your school work talk to your guidance counselor or see one of the coaches and we will help. You must stay on top of your grades with your teachers.
6. Players are responsible to know game times and bus departure times
a. For all games warm up begins 45 min prior to kickoff time promptly.
1. any player with an illegal late for the start of warm ups will not start in that game.
b. all players playing the second game must be on the bench no later than 20 minutes prior to the start of the first game.
c. Players will be allowed time(as directed by the coach) between games to go to locker room unless coach tells you otherwise.
1. 1st late you will be given a warning. 2nd late you will lose your privilege for 2 games.
7. All players are expected to stay till the end of both JV and Varsity games unless you have prior approval from Coach Paul
8. All players will ride the bus back from away games unless you have an emergency or have prior approval from Coach Paul at least 24 hours prior.
9. Report all injuries to the coaching staff.
10. All freshmen are responsible for getting the equipment to and from all games and practices.
a. All freshmen are responsible for running lines for the home varsity and JV games.
11. You must be in school by 10:00 am to be eligible for practice and games unless you have an approved tardy from the HS office.
a. If you are late for school(after 10am) two times with an unexcused tardy during the season we will meet with you and give you a warning. Any additional unexcused tardiness will result in punishment.
b. Any and all tardiness must be reported to Coach Paul that afternoon with a reason why you were late.
12. All players must wear appropriate attire. Each occurrence for inappropriate attire will be punished.
a. No jewelry is allowed to be worn during any games or practices.
b. All players must wear shirts with sleeves for practice and pregame warm up.
13. No cell phone use during practices or games unless approved by the staff
Players shall keep these rules for future reference. Please sign and return this page to the coaching staff prior to the second Monday of the season.
