Hidalgo County Farm Bureau 2015 Scholarship Application

Scholarship Specifics

Graduating high school seniors and full-time college undergraduate students in good academic standing may apply for this scholarship.

The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded each year is determined by the Hidalgo County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and their Scholarship Committee.

Those receiving scholarships will be required to provide proof of enrollment. After receipt of proof of enrollment, a check will be mailed to scholarship recipients.

Eligibility

Youth must be a member of an Hidalgo County Farm Bureau family. Father, mother or legal guardian memberships qualify. Grandparents, siblings or other relatives’ memberships may not be used. Membership must be in good standing at the time of application.

For graduating high school seniors, the official transcript for the entire high school education to date, signed by a school records official and certified with a school seal must accompany this application.

This application must be complete. Provide all information requested. The application must be typed, except for signatures. Do not add additional pages to this application unless additional space is needed to complete the list of scholarships applied for on page 3. Page 1 should not be submitted as a part of a complete application. Font should remain in 11 point Times New Roman. Applications not conforming to these guidelines may be disqualified.

Deadline for Application

Completed application must be received in the Hidalgo County Farm Bureau Office, P.O. Box 1699, Pharr, TX 78577, by 5:00 p.m. April 27, 2015. Applications may either be brought by the Farm Bureau Office or mailed, but must be received by the deadline. Applications will not be accepted via fax or email.
