Race 6 Selections 5-9-6-2

5 WINDSUN TWISTER did not fire when asked to go first up for his new trainer. He could be better tonight in his second start for the new barn and is a classy gelding who might step it up when the big money is on the line.
9 ANVIL RAIDER N would have been my top choice if not for this outside draw. He fought tough in his start last week to be fourth against a more solid group than he sees tonight
6 ST LADS ADONIS was out and going in both his eliminations and looks more suited for this field.

Race 1 Selections 5-4-1-3

5 ST LADS ZOOM ZOOM just ran away from them last time here. He was able to sit in for a piece after fronting his first couple of miles and looks to be about 10 lengths the best tonight. He should be a lock in the daily double.

4 ZAVAN was the best of the rest against my top pick last time and raced very tough as he was parked the mile and still paced in 56 flat. He should complete a short exactor.
1 ASTREOS SQUIRT has paced much better in his last couple here and should be considered for a small share. /

Race 7 Selections 1-6-8-2

1 LUKE BUT DONTOUCH went a much better effort in his most recent at Hazel Park. He is second in this group in earnings this season and with this advantageous post he might be ready to challenge for the gold again.
6 REHAB MOUNTAIN was second to a very convincing winner the last time here when trotting in sub 58. He seems to be adjusting well in his new barn.
8 CIS BUCKEYE has been playing crazy 8’s lately in the post department. Gelding can trot, but post a negative.

Race 2 Selections 1-4-5-3

1 IT’S A GO was much the best last time here as he dominated after making the lead. He returns to the same level again and from the rail he has a big shot to repeat.
4 HAVENT YET got locked in two back and then closed to be fifth from a tough post in his last. He is one that could step up his game and surprise a few some night.
5 THATSWHATTHEYSAY was a different horse last week as he was put on the front and won easy. He paced a big mile that time, but can he duplicate that performance again. /

Race 8 Selections 1-2-9-3

1 KENNAIRN BUCKWHEAT has paced great in all but one of his last five. He has very good tactical speed, and was very impressive last start when jetting home in 27:2.
2 KENDAL GUSTAV had been dominating this class this year but did not luck himself the last time here. He races better near the lead which is a big possibility tonight.
9 ROCKY REGAL was at the top of his game before being scratched in his last. Tough draw to return to, but passing some late to be third might be in his cards.

Race 3 Selections 2-5-1-7

2 KNIGHT OF MY LIFE was raced like the best last time here and won even after being off 19 days. He shows a big mile three down, and should be tough to beat this evening.
5 WHOSURBANKER was showing some promise here before a sixth at Hanover. He has a burst of speed, and could crack the top two if his trip scenario is positive.
1 B B SMASH faded last time here but was used very hard from the eight hole to make the front. He draws much better now and will be more effective from the rail. /

Race 9 Selections 5-2-7-3

5 JUST CROWNED paces well over here and finished second from the 8 hole twice on his bottom lines. He has a big finishing brush, and looks ready to claim the gold.
2 LUCKY TERROR looked like world champ here four back but came back down to earth in his last three. Expecting him to get an aggressive steer tonight from this good draw.
7 ARTASHACK is 14 for 22 in the top three this year but is winning at less than10%. He is a nice gelding, but will need early speed up front for him to close into.

Race 4 Selections 1-7-9-2

1 ROYAL SIR has not done much since he paced in 1:52:1 earlier here this summer. He has however been facing some tough company each week and this drop in class and solid post might get him back to the winners circle.
7 CASH ONLY PLEASE is a solid mid level conditioned horse. He had six weeks off to freshen up and will be much better now with a start under his belt.
9 MAJOR WAGER never seems to find an easy mile and from another tough draw this might be the best he can do. /

Race 10 Selections 5-4-3-2

5 OUTOFTEXAS paced well on the lead last week before being overtaken by the pocket sitter. He has a big shot at challenging for the rich final tonight.
4 SINGIN BLUES has found the right time to peak as he has looked sharp in his last few. He might just try to wire this group again after being tough on the front the last two.
3 RUST BELT shows being patient and closing in the majority of his miles. He likes to come from off the pace and might just take it all if a big speed duel happens upfront

Race 5 Selections 8-7-3-1

8 PHILANA CHALICE has caught some snug fields in his last three over half mile tracks. He draws tough for his start here, but does show 54 speed here this summer.
7 BOLD RAIDER did not put forth a good effort in his last but was given a week off. He shows speed on his current lines, and is one I expect to rebound tonight.
3 DONTSTIFFTHEVET always seems to put forth an honest effort when he is behind the gate. In tough, but could crack the top three with a positive trip. /

Race 11 Selections 4-7-1-2

4 STRIKER RAY looked pretty good in his last but was a little short as shown by his last quarter. He was sharp at this level earlier in the year and looks ready to put forth a bigger effort tonight.
7 NORTHERN ILLUSION keeps picking up top three finishes each week. He battles all the way to the wire each week and should be considered for a big share tonight.
1 STANCHION HANOVER has not won in the past few years but his last couple months of racing are encouraging.
