PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

1. Choose and read a nonfiction book on the country of your heritage. We will be visiting the library to help you select a book that is appropriate. You will work on this project at home and at school.

2. After reading your book and note-taking in your graphic organizer, you will be creating a PowerPoint to introduce us to your heritage. You will need to describe what is interesting about your country, what a tourist might enjoy seeing, and how your country contributes to the economy of the world.

3. Use good internet searching techniques to research facts for your country and to collect graphics for your PowerPoint. Include a map of your country, pictures of the people of that country, interesting places to see in the country, and other photographs that help describe your country.

4. Please complete the Graphic organizer to make sure that your
Heritage Report has all of the required information.

5. Review the PowerPoint Rubric Requirements. Each PowerPoint must include a title slide, 3 interesting facts, 3 places a tourist might visit, 2 facts about the economy, 3 foods relating to the nationality and a reference slide. There should be a heading on each slide for each of those topics.
