YOUNG FARMERS DRAMA WENT AHEAD DESPITE THE BAD WEATHER
Weather conditions deteriorated rapidly on the first night of the Herefordshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs drama and one plus competitions at Kingstone High School on 18th February and it was touch and go but the festival went ahead.
This year there were only 4 teams taking part and the adjudicator, Marie O'Sullivan, had a tough job on her hands. The standard of each entry was high but a decision had to be made and it was the Club from Golden Valley YFC who prevailed.

The One Plus competition - five minutes of almost any type of stage work - provided some very creative entertainment alongside the drama productions and results were as follows:-

The Stage Compere competition was a chance for members to learn more about how to introduce a production and to interact with the audience. Results were as follows:-

2ndHamish Light (Golden Valley YFC)
3rdGareth Taylor (Ledbury YFC)
3 Clubs - Hereford YFC, Eardisley YFC and Allensmore YFC, went on to compete at the All England Drama Festival on at the Courtyard, Hereford and were rewarded with some outstanding results collecting 8 awards from the 13 categories.
On Saturday 20th March, Golden Valley YFC and Hereford YFC will be on stage again at the Courtyard, Hereford representing Herefordshire in the West Midland Area Young Farmers finals.
