For the third year running we are pleased to offer a 3 day herding clinic on sheep with Kent Herbel. Kent has worked with various breeds since the mid-70’s. He has competed successfully in AKC to the Herding Championship level and has trained successful Open level dogs in USBCHA. He and wife Lori travel approximately 60,000 miles annually, competing, training, trialing, judging and instinct testing across the US. Kent works with a public address system so everyone can learn from one-another at all times. He communicates clearly, in a manner both handler and dog understand. Novice and beginners build a strong foundation; advanced handlers get some of their tough problems solved. Visit Herbels web site at Entries limited to twelve dogs per day. Three-day registrants given priority.

Directions: LakeCity is located on MN 61, 1 ½ hr. drive SE from Mpls/St.Paul, and 1 ½ hr. north of LaCrosse, WI. At the north end of LakeCity, with LakePepin on the east side of MN 61, go west on Goodhue Co. 5 (also called Grant St. in town). Travel 5.4 miles, then turn right (north) on Oak Ridge Ave. Way. Follow that 1 ½ miles to the end of the road. Watch for parking signs.

Time: 8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily.
