TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
HEOL Y BARNA, HEOL GLYN DYFAL & CWMDULAIS ROAD, MAWR, SWANSEA.
In order for Dawnus Construction Holdings Limited on behalf of Innogy UK to undertake construction works for a wind farm, it will be necessary to temporarily close the above roads to vehicular traffic.

SCHEDULE 1 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HEOL Y BARNA (PART), MAWR.
Heol Y Barna in a north-easterly direction from its junction with Gopa Hill Lane (A1K9) to its junction with Bryn-Bach Road, a distance of approximately 520 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the unaffected section Heol Y Barna, A48 Bryntirion Road, Clordir Road and Bryn-Bach Road, a distance of approximately 5 kilometres.
This route is only suitable for light traffic and similarly will operate in the reverse direction.
Closure/Schedule 1 will run simultaneously with closure 1(a) below.
SCHEDULE 1 (a) - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HEOL GLYN DYFAL (PART), MAWR.
Heol Glyn Dyfal in a northerly direction from its junction with Hen-Glawdd Farm lane for a distance of approximately 1.1 kilometres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the unaffected section of Heol Glyn Dyfal, Heol Y Mynydd, Garnswllt Road, Glynhir Road, Alltiago Road, A48 Bolgoed Road, A48 Bryntirion Road, Clordir Road, Bryn-Bach Road, Heol Pantyffa and the unaffected section of Heol Glyn Dyfal, a distance of approximately 21 kilometres.
This route is only suitable for light traffic and similarly will operate in the reverse direction.
Closure/Schedule 1 (a) will run simultaneously with closure 1 above.
SCHEDULE 2 - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CWMDULAIS ROAD, MAWR.
Cwmdulais Road in a north-easterly direction from its junction with Heol Pantyfa/Bryn-Bach Road/Heol Y Barna to its junction with Heol Glyn Dyfal, a distance of approximately 2.2 kilometres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Heol Glyn Dyfal and Heol Pantyfa, a distance of approximately 4.2 kilometres.
This route is only suitable for light traffic and similarly will operate in the reverse direction.
Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians to be maintained at all times.
Would you please process the temporary ORDER for the following date:-
Monday 8th May 2017 for 18 months.
(Or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner).
It is anticipated the work will take 22 weeks to complete.
