Owls and Porcupines
September/October
Hello two’s families! We are looking forward to exploring all of the things fall has to offer.
❖ Please pack your child a water bottle or closed top sip cup everyday. We bring our cups out to the playground and water bottles are much easier to transport than an open cup.
❖ Please keep your eyes out for information about upcoming field trips. In the fall we go apple picking and pumpkin picking. We rely on parent participation to help transport children as well as for extra eyes for supervision. If your child is child who might have a problem successfully participating on a field trip we will require a parent to come.
❖ Please make sure your child has NON AEROSOL sunscreen and bug spray at school. We will be spending a lot of our time outside please help us make sure your child is protected. The weather can be unpredictable please make sure your child has the proper gear to be comfortable outside.
❖ Please call us if you will be dropping off past your scheduled time. Our cut off time for drop offs is 11:15.
❖ Reminder please be aware that we still have peanut allergy in our center. We will not be able to serve any peanut products. Thanks for you understanding and cooperation. We will no longer be able to use M&Ms for potty treats because they are not peanut safe. If you are wanting your child to have potty treats please pack a peanut safe alternative such as gummies.
❖ Every Friday is pizza day. Money should be paid in advance for your child to have pizza. You can pay ahead for multiple weeks if it is more convenient.

We are excited to welcome Eamonn to the Porcupine classroom and Olivia and Emmaline to the Owls room. We wish Cameron, Sam and Vera best of luck on their new adventures.
