2018 MHBA Princess Code of Conduct
As MHBA Princess, you are a role model to the youth across the country and an ambassador for the Miniature Hereford Breeders Association. All actions you decided to act upon during your reign affects the association you represent. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you act in an appropriate manor at all times while you are in the public’s eye attending livestock functions. If it is determined that you are acting or have acted in a manner that is inappropriate according to the guidelines set below, the MHBA, MHYF and myself have the right to take whatever action is deemed necessary.
Although general judgement should forbid you to act in a way unsatisfactory to the title of MHBA Queen/Princess, the following rules are required or forbidden of you during your reign:
Consumption of alcoholic beverages. You should not put yourself in a position to be drinking with fellow junior MHBA members, adults or in the public eye of other livestock personnel.
Use of drugs or tobacco products.
Commission of a crime.
Must remain unmarried until reign has been completed.
Must not be pregnant during your reign.
The Queen coordinator has the right to add more rules as sees fit for the best of the MHBA.

Dress Code for the 2018 MHBA Princess
As royalty for the MHBA, you are always in the public’s eye. Producers, breeders, customers, peers, are always watching you, what you are doing, and especially what you are wearing. Please keep in mind the following dress code set for your reign:
Jeans, khakis, dress slacks: Please make sure that they are not faded, torn or frayed.
Skirts: If you bend over and there is no questioning what is underneath, it’s too short!
Shoes and boots: Keep them looking nice and if you can, polished.
Shirt/Blouse: These should be long enough to be tucked in. Ironed with no fray’s or tears. No tank tops. T-shirts are fine when not in queen attire but no tears, fraying, or crude words/pictures. No cleavage to be showing in any shirt or blouse.
Crown and sash: Worn at all required events and kept clean and neat. The Queen sash is handed down from Queen to Queen. It is to be kept in exceptional state using the handed down box to store it in.
Try to avoid loud colors that stand out in a photo. The focus of any picture should be the animal and exhibitor so use your best judgement in your clothing selection. If you need to question your outfit, it is probably not appropriate.
