HEDIS® Interpreter Portal-User Interface

Log in Workspace:

Log into the Web Portal by entering the following:

  • Enter: User Name
  • Enter: Password
  • Select: Log In

About: Connects to the Premier Eye Care website:

Contact: Provides phone number for the HEDIS Department and the Premier Eye Care mailing address

Instructions: Provides link to the HEDIS Interpreter Portal instructions

Interpreter Workspace

  • Click to Open: Select this option to go into the Submission Details Workspace
  • Current Status: Status of the submission
  • Submitted: New image have been received from the PCP
  • Processed: Image has been interpreted and sent to PCP
  • Rejected: Image has been rejected and sent to PCP
  • Status Date: Date image was submitted by PCP or Processed by Interpreter
  • Member: Name of the member the images belong to
  • PCP Office: Name and ID of PCP that submitted the image
  • Notes from PCP Office: Notes PCP added to submitted images
  • System ID: Number assigned to submission

The list can be exported, refreshed and printed:

Submission Details Workspace

  • Submission ID: Number assigned to submission
  • Submission Type: DRE – Retinal Imaging
  • Status: Shows current status of submission (Submitted, Processed or Rejected)
  • Status Date/Time: Date and time image was submitted, Processed or Rejected
  • PCP Name: Name of PCP that submitted image
  • PCP ID: ID of PCP that submitted image
  • Member Last Name
  • Member First Name
  • Member Date of Birth
  • Member ID
  • Notes from Submitter: Notes submitted by PCP
  • Document (Click to Download): Select link to view image
  • Image: Thumbnail of submitted image
  • Document Type: Shows if the image is the left or right eye
  • Enter Review Notes for Each Document: Interpreter notes for each image

Note: Changes must be saved when submitting notes

  • Right Eye Diagnosis / Left Eye Diagnosis
  • No Diabetic Retinopathy Found

Note: The Macular Edema Found drop down will grey out when this diagnosis is chosen

  • Diabetic Retinopathy – Unspecified Stage
  • Diabetic Retinopathy – Mild Nonproliferative
  • Diabetic Retinopathy – Moderate Nonproliferative
  • Diabetic Retinopathy – Severe Nonproliferative
  • Diabetic Retinopathy – Proliferative
  • Macular Edema Found
  • Unable to determine
  • Yes
  • No
  • Additional Input: Recommendation for a follow-up
  • 12 months
  • 9 months
  • 6 months

  • Enter Review Notes: Additional Interpreter notes

Note: Changes must be saved when submitting notes.

  • Medical Review Finished: Select when done to submit interpretation to PCP

Note:Changes can’t be made once this option is selected

  • Reject This Submission: Select to send back to the PCP so they can submit images again

Note: Review notes must be entered before making this selection. Changes can’t be made once this option is selected.

  • Back to Document List: Select to go back to list of submissions

Email Notifications of New Submissions

An email will be sent to notify the interpreter that new submissions have been assigned and are ready to be interpreted.

Example:

Hello Dr. John Doe,
This email is to inform you that there are 1 new pending submissions in Premier's HEDIS portal that have been assigned to you for retinal image interpretation.
You now have a total of 1 submissions in your queue which are awaiting retinal image interpretation.
