Residential scheme for up to 38 dwellingspermission refused – 6 July 2017
APP/G2435/W/17/3166865
Land at Swepstone Road, Heather, Leicestershire for 36 dwellings.
The refusal of Planning Permission for this development (16/00832/OUTM) was appealed by the developer. The Planning Inspectorate had the hearing from 23rd May 2017 and their decision was reported on 17 July 2017. They have overturned the original decision and the application was approved.
The clerk has checked the weekly planning lists. There is nothing more listed and we have received no notification. All planning applications and decision are available for viewing on NWLDC website.

11. VILLAGE ISSUES
•Play Area Inspections carried out …………….
•To consider the inspection reports from ROSPA
•Defibrillator – thank you to all who attended the training. An item will be on the web page shortly about this session.
•Hanging baskets – the inspection has been done by the Highways department at County Hall. Two lampposts were found to be defective and therefore, the hanging baskets were removed on those two posts. C J Springthorpe have retained the baskets to be reinstated when the new lamp posts are in place. N.B.These baskets have now been replaced on the posts where hanging baskets had been stolen.

5.The Toddler Group will not be running during the school holidays.
