The Native American Training Institute, Inc. invites you and other health practitioners and service providers representing American Indians and First Nations communities, to the 4thAnnualIndianSchool. This training event includes over 20 informative and interactive workshops delivered by leaders, researchers, and practitioners from across the continuum of substance abuse and mental health services. Attendees have an opportunity to acquire knowledge and specific skills that can be applied to their work environment.

Participants include substance abuse counselors, mental health professionals, Tribal Court Judges, Tribal Councils, educators, social workers, family service and TANF personnel, clergy, corrections and law enforcement professionals, housing managers, nurses, physicians, and many others.

Registration Information

Early Bird Registration:

Early registration fee postmarked by December 27, 2013 is $395.00. To qualify for early registration, send completed registration form and payment of $395.00, to NATI.

Registration:

Regular registration fee postmarked after January 27, 2014 is $495.00. Early and regular registration fee includes: admission to workshops and plenary sessions, conference bag, handout materials, certificate, banquet/dance, Pow-Wow, networking reception, refreshment breaks.

Fee does not include travel, meals, accommodations, or tour.

Payment Options:

NATI cannot accept personal checks or government credit cards.

NATI will NOT accept purchase orders.

NATI will accept money orders, cashier’s checks, organizational checks, made payable to: NATI, Inc.

Registration Fees:

The following registration fees include workshops, plenary sessions, handout materials, conference bags, certificate, banquet/dance, Pow-Wow, Networking Reception and refreshment breaks only.

Not included: travel, accommodations, meals, banquet, and tour.

Daily Registration Fee: $75 per day.

Provide NATI with completed registration form and acceptable payment of $75 for each day of attendance at the school. Fee covers materials for that day only.

College Student Registration Fee: $150

Provide NATI with completed registration form, payment of $150, and verification from school of full-time student status. Registration fee includes all of the above except banquet/dance/tour.

Senior Registration: $125

Individuals must be 65 years of age and older. Please pre-register by calling NATI. Registration fee includes all of the above except banquet/dance/tour.

NATI Scholarships:

A limited number of scholarships will be offered. Interested individuals can contact Patrick Trujillo by phone: (505) 204-1347, or e-mail: and return completed scholarship request form to NATI before August 30, 2013 to be eligible. Announcement of scholarship recipients will be made on or before December 27, 2013.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy:

A $50 processing fee will be applied to each refunded registration fee. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and postmarked no later than March 28, 2014.

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED FOR NO-SHOWS

Substitutions for paid registrants within an organization are acceptable. Please notify NATI prior to the school.

Banquet/Dance Tickets:

Tickets are available for purchase in the amount of $30 and must be purchased by noon, April 29, 2014. Daily registrants, seniors, college students, and AITI scholarship recipients must purchase tickets to attend this event. Banquet/dance tickets are included for attendees paying $395 or $495 registration fees.

PUEBLO TOUR: The fee for the Pueblo Tour is $40.00 and is not part of Native American Training Institute. For more information, contact Dorothy Coriz at (505)465-1412 (h) or (505) 980-7994 (c).

CEUs

A maximum of 30 contact hours of continuing professional education can be received by those completing required number of workshops. A maximum of three CEUs will be provided for areas in Behavioral Health, Mental Health and Social Work.

The Albuquerque Marriott Hotel, the site for the 4th Annual Indian School, is located in the heart of uptown Albuquerque, overlooking the Sandia Mountains. You are only steps away from shopping, movie theatres, restaurants, and minutes from the AlbuquerqueSunPort, HistoricOldTown, and the Sandia Peak Tram. Each of the 411 comfortable guest rooms are equipped with high-speed internet access, remote control TV, two phones, data port, desk lamp, voice mail, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, and hair dryers.

Accommodations are not included in the school registration fee and are the responsibility of the participant. To qualify for the pre-arranged rate of $81.00 for Single, Double, Triple and Quad, it is imperative to confirm your hotel reservations by April 11, 2014 and identify yourself as a participant of the “4th Annual Professional Development Training (NATI INC.)”.
