He Who Began a Good Work Will Complete It (Phil. 1:6)

I. Prophetic Promises to IHOPKC

A. Jesus knows the combination of blessing and pressure needed for each ministry to fulfill His will.

6…being confident…that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. (Phil. 1:6)

B. September 1982—The Lord said: “I will change the understanding and expression of Christianity in the earth in one generation. I am inviting you to be a part of a work that will touch the ends of the earth. You have only said yes, but have not yet done it. Many have said yes, but did not do it.

C. The Lord said, “I will establish 24-hour prayer in the spirit of the tabernacle of David.” (1983)

15“But the priests…the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me…” (Ezek. 44:15)

D. May 1983—Mississippi flood as a sign of growing from 500 to 5000 intercessory missionaries

E. March 23, 1984—Bob Jones prophesied that I would receive the blueprints of the movement on March 26. “The journey will be long—the Lord will send many helpers, both male and female.”

F. July 3, 1984—Bob Jones saw the Lord in context to the ark of the covenant (2 Sam. 6).
August 1984—My heavenly visionary experience, “Be patient, young man…”

  1. Perseverance—not quitting in our pursuit of the fullness of God’s will for our lives.

5May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

(2 Thes. 3:5, NIV)

  1. Perseverance is one of the greatest virtues that we can develop in the grace of God. It is a rare and beautiful miracle to walk in steadfastness for decades in the face of daily routines, difficulties, lack, and opportunities that distract us from our divine assignment.

G. May 1985—Bob Jones’ prophecy to “watch the baseball game this year; it will speak of grace in Kansas City. It will be an 11th hour turn around victory when others have counted them out.”

H. “Proclaim Zechariah 4 and Ephesians 4, for this is where the Lord is taking you” (1984). He wants to establish an Ephesians 4 community of believers with a foundation of prayer (Zech. 4).

6“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. 7“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”… 9“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands shall finish it… 10For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—they are the eyes of the Lord…” (Zech. 4:6-10)

II. The word of the Lord (October 2015)

A. I believe America is approaching the time of its greatest crisis and that the Body of Christ is in a spiritual emergency. And at this time, our staff involvement in the prayer room is at its weakest. Remembering requires being intentional; neglecting to remember has negative consequences.

2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect [mature] before God. 3Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief [resulting in loss], and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Rev. 3:2-3)

B. Proposals—Re-establish our weekly all-staff Tuesday fasting day with commitment to the 10am and 4pm sets (or 6am or 8pm). Reduce the amount of time that our staff travels in ministry.

III. prophetic promises and directives—the Gospel of the Kingdom

A. July 1988—the Lord’s audible voice calling us to believe Him “to put a seal of fire on our heart” (Song 8:6)

B. November 1995—my prophetic dream exhorting me to call God’s people, “Hephzibah”

C. November 30, 1996—“The Lord wants you to call the church into His beauty.”

D. May 7, 1997—The Lord said, “I will raise up 10,000 ‘friends of the Bridegroom’ messengers” (Jn. 3:29).

E. September 17, 1997—the calling to proclaim “Jesus in red” as seen in Isaiah 63:1-6

F. January 27, 1999—In Colorado Springs, Kingsley Fletcher prophesied Hag. 1:2 to me.
