Have you set up your MyPSC Account?

Directions for establishing MyPSC:

1. Certification ID Number / PSC Account Number. This can be found on your paraprofessional, support personnel, teaching, service or leadership certificate. If you do not have a current copy of this, please follow the directions in Step #2. If you do have your Certification ID number, proceed to Step #3.

2.On the main PSC screen, click on blue box entitled “Check Certification Status.” Once on this screen, type in your first and last name to display your current certificate and Certification ID Number. Print and save.

3.With your Certification ID Number / PSC Account Number in hand, click on Register MyPSC and follow the provided directions.

4.You will receive a GAPSC Notifier that contains a link to reset the password and a temporary password. The password has to be reset before you can log into MyPSC. This e-mail can take up to 24 hours to receive after the initial request to register. When resetting the password select the link within the notifier e-mail first and then answer the security questions. Return to the notifier e-mail, copy and then paste the temporary password into the Reset Password window. Establish a new password using the following format information:

Your password must contain one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number or special character (can contain both); have a minimum of 8 characters with a maximum of 12 characters. Password must not contain your first name, last name, PSC Account Number/Certification ID or the word “password”.

  1. Once you have established your MyPSC account, you will receive and can view any information pertaining to your certificate through this account. For example, when you renew or upgrade your certificate, your new certificate will be sent through MyPSC.

If you experience problems, you can e-mail: . Type MyPSC in the subject of the e-mail. List your name and Cert ID with an explanation of the problem you are having. You may also choose to contact the PSC by phone at 404-232-2500. Press 1 and then 1 again to speak with an Information Specialist. Please be aware that due to the high volume of calls relating to MyPSC, you will experience longer wait times.
