Have you got what it takes?
Rotary International thinks you do! We are looking for 4 employed people between 25 and 39 years old who would like to travel to Norway and spend four weeks having a great time and also spending a few days seeing how they do your kind of work there.

Don’t worry, we send a Rotarian Team leader to take care of you!

Group Study Exchange (GSE) is one of the most popular programmes in Rotary International. We pay for everything apart from yourtravel insurance and spending money! We invite you to join us in a GSE trip to Norway from Saturday 28 April to Saturday 26 May 2007.

During this 4 week trip in south east Norway you will an ambassador of Rotary International, your country and vocation. You will also exchange ideas and information and the new perspectives that you gather during this intensive experience will serve both you and your employer well. You will stay as a guest in the homes of Norwegian Rotarians as they and their families will share their culture and daily lives with you. They will show you places that tourists do not usually visit, all with the great hospitality for which Rotarians are well known. All you have to do is look, listen, learn, share and enjoy!

However, this is NOT a holiday. Now, more than ever, the world needs programmes such as GSE to build bridges between cultures and strengthen international relationships and contribute to world peace. People at work need to share “best practices” around the world.

Your days and evenings will be very busy and you and your team mates will develop quality presentations about your lifestyle, family, work, history culture and geography both before and after the exchange. You will deliver those presentations both to Rotary clubs in Norway and then relate your experiences to Rotary clubs in District 1220 on your return.

So, would you like to travel to a wonderful country with a different culture at our expense?

Do you have the permission of your employer to be away for 4 weeks? Maybe you could use part of your annual leave towards it.

Are you between 25 and 39 years old and in good health?

Are you a UK citizen living or working in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire?

Are you ready to work as part of a team with a demanding schedule?

Employees of Rotarians are eligible but relatives of a Rotarian are not.

If you have got what it takes, we invite you to apply now!
