HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE PTA!

The PTA wasvery busy last term with lots of fundraising activities and events, these included:

  • Quiz Night
  • Christmas Shopping Sale morning
  • Christmas Hamper Raffle
  • Christmas Cake Raffle
  • Weekly Cake Raffle
  • Christmas Cards designed by your children
  • Christmas Floral Decoration Evening

The grand total raised was £1,988!

All our fundraising efforts enabled us to contribute towards or entirely fund lots of brilliant things, all of which your child will benefit from at some point.Last term these included:

  • Purchase of new musical instruments and music stands for use across the pre-school and school
  • Funding for Forest School
  • Additional high-visibility jackets for school trips
  • Christmas Disco for KS1 and KS2
  • Funding for additional consumables for pre-school and each class in school

Our continued thanks to all of you who contributed to our success in any way, large or small.If you have any suggestions as to how money raised might be spent, then please complete a Request for Funding Form, which can be found on the PTA page of the school website.

It’s hard to believe that it’s the start of a new year already, but we have already been busy planning this term’s events, as well as starting to think about the Summer Fair which will take place on Sunday 17 May. Put the date in your diary now!

Quiz Night - Friday 13 March

To kick off our fundraising for 2015 we will be holding a Quiz Night on Friday 13 Marchin the School Hall. Please put the date in your diary now! Tickets will cost just £5 per person and will be on sale in late February/March. This event promises to be a lot of fun so please come along with some friends and/or family and have a good time while supporting the school!

Friday Cake Raffle

Please don’t forget the Friday Cake Raffle, which raises hundreds of pounds a year! Raffle tickets are sold every Friday morning before school in the playground. Tickets are just 10p each. The raffle is drawn in Friday worship and the winner takes home a yummy cake to help kick the weekend off! Bring your money this Friday!

Your Help Needed

If you can spare a little time to help support us, please do let us know. We would love to see you at our meetings or if you are able to help with the set up or break down of the Summer Fair. Many hands make light work!

We will keep you updated as the term progresses and if you are interested in coming along, the nextPTA Meeting is on Thursday 15th September at 7.30pm in the School Staff Room. We will be starting work on organising the Summer Fair. Come and find out what we do and how you might be able to help! It’s a great way to meet new people and make friends. Hope to see you there!
