Free Play - A time for children to work on imaginary play, social skills, & language development while interacting with their peers.

Manipulative – Children will be given small learning activities to do. These will focus on sequencing, sorting, counting, and more. This is also a time when teachers will work one on one with students.

Biblical Teaching - We will read a Bible story with class discussion, sing a Bible song, & have prayer time. Biblical teachings are also taught throughout our day in our words & actions.

Snack - Children are dismissed to wash for snack by practicing name recognition & language development. Grace is said daily prior to eating snack. During snack time we are working on fine motor skills and independence (opening their own snack), manners, social interaction & language development.

Class Time – Students work on days of the week, counting, weather awareness, & show respect to our country with the Pledge & a song. Next students will listen to a story with classroom discussion on its topic. Many stories encourage science relativity & life lesson discussions.

Learning Stations - Children will be broken up into four groups and move between stations every 10 minutes.

Station 1 Alphabet & Pre-ReadingStation 3 Fine Motor doing crafts/project & science

Station 2 Math ConceptsStation 4 Sensory Table using fine motor & social skills

Alphabet Corner – Reinforcement of the letter & sound are reviewed with stories, pictures & song. At this time, the child who is student of the day shares their show n’ tell with the class.

Gross Motor/ Song - This will be a time for them to get up and move! If weather permits, we may go outside to the playground. If weather does not permit, we may listen/do instructional movements to music or go to the gym. This will also be a time for singing preschool songs.

Departure – Children practice independence by putting on their coats & zippering and then have a seat on the floor with their tote-bag. When all of the children are ready, and announcements have been given to waiting adults, students are dismissed by name.
