GENERAL:
-Today is the all-school French Bingo at 2:05pm.
-Central School has a problem. One of their students (that attended Peer Conference) may have the same jacket as one of our students and her phone was in the pocket! Now she has a similar jacket to her own but it is not hers. It is a black jacket with 2 big pink stripes down the side. Students – do you happen to have the wrong jacket with a phone in it? If so, see MmeMarchand!

MIDDLE YEARS:
-Cooking Club for Gr 5/6 is Thursday, Feb. 16 from 3:05 – 5pm . Sign up sheet is on the sewing lab door.
- Gr 5 – 8 teachers, please review in Advisory what to do during Noon Break with your homeroom students
-IMPROV-all grade 5-8 students are welcome! We will be meeting on Day 5's (tomorrow) in the project room. Please bring your lunch and meet Ms. Bridal in the project room from 11:57-12:42.Everyone is welcome! If you have any questions please ask Ms. Bridal.

Upcoming
- We are having an author visit February 13! Grade 4-8 will have the privilege of listening to a presentation by Kevin Miller, author of Up the Creek! Students in Grades 4 and 5 will also have the privilege of participating in a writing workshop with Mr. Miller. He will be bringing copies of the book for our students to purchase. They retail at $10 but he will sell them – autographed – for $8!

Next Week is Music Week! (Feb 13-17) Activities:
- David Wilson who will do vocal techniques and breathing Tuesday Feb 14th in the pm (with the classes Mrs. Collins has that day) we also have ukulele specialist, Michael Lyngstad, coming on Monday, Feb. 13 p.m. (also for Mrs. Collins’ classes scheduled). Dress up day (Favourite band/singer Day) is Thursday, Feb 16th!
Ongoing:
- Mrs. Collins’ Grade 5-8“Music Club… The 8th Notes” happens on Day 2’s at noon.
- Stars Choir (Gr 2-4) that meet on Tuesdays. Grade 2-4 will eat in their classroom and come to the STAGE at the 12 pm bell. This will keep the stage clean.

-Any band students wanting to get started in the Jazz program should attend the practice on Thursday morning at 7:30am in the band room. Come out and play some jazz tunes to get your day started.
