MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 28 MAY 2012 IN THE PAVILION, STATION ROAD, HALSTEAD AT 18.00

The meeting convened at 18.10

1  ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

Cllr. Grosvenor, proposed Cllr. Brooker, seconded by Cllr. Bent. There were no other nominations.

Cllr. Brooker was elected Chairman.

RESOLVED: Cllr. Terry Brooker shall be Chairman for the ensuring year.

2  ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

Cllr. Brooker proposed Cllr. Grosvenor, seconded by Cllr. Bent. There were no other nominations.

Cllr. Grosvenor was elected Chairman.

RESOLVED: Cllr. Grosvenor shall be Vice Chairman for the ensuring year.

3  APOLOGIES.

Apologises were received from Cllr. Ford who was on holiday. Members signed the attendance register

5 PLANNING APPLICATION FOR CONSIDERATION.

The following responses were RESOLVED unanimously by the Committee.

The Parish Council has NO OBJECTION to this planning application

Erection of a two storey side extension and front porch extension, including the demolition of a single storey utility/store
The Parish Council has NO OBJECTION to this planning application

6 INFORMATION

Proposed car park in Sevenoaks Road.

Cllr. Taylor remarked that Badgers Mount and Pratts Bottom Residents’ Associations are concerned by this proposal. This will be an agenda item at June Parish Council meeting.

Date of the next Planning Meeting was agreed for Thursday 14 June at 18.00 in the Pavilion.

A planning application has been received for 46 Watercroft Road and the Planning Committee Chairman requested that the Clerk arrange a site meeting.

It was agreed that the Clerk should contact Bromley Borough concerning the caravan on land behind Knockholt Station; it is believed that it is occupied.
