Re: JOB VACANCY: Campaigns Manager
Dear Applicant
Thank you for expressing an interest in the post of Campaigns Manager. A job description for the post, an application form and information about Wildlife Trusts Wales(WTW) are enclosed.
This post is based in our Cardiff offices although the role involves some travel around Wales and occasionally throughout the UK. As such a full UK driving licence is essential. This is a fixed term contract for 3 years (subject to a 6 month probationary period). The salary is £25,000 + 3% pension and other benefits.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced in running campaigns, events and particularly on-line communications. Candidates must have the ability to show experience in developing campaigns ideas, delivering public participation and building successful relationships with partners. You will be a creative and innovative individual who can generate campaigns with minimal resources. Your strategic approach, imagination and skills will help us manage and lead campaigns to achieve our vision.
The main campaign the post will be responsible for is one that WTW is running with the Co-operative Group in Wales (information on the relationship is included in the pack). The Welsh Wildlife Hero’s (WWH’s) campaign will encourage the general public to ‘Do One Thing’ for wildlife to coincide with WTW present campaign of that name. We envisage that most of the engagement will be through social media so experience in this area is of particular interest to us.
Your application form plays an important part in our selection process. It helps us to decide whether you will be short-listed for an interview and acts as a basis for the interview itself. When completing the application form please explain clearly and concisely how you meet each of the key experience, knowledge, skills and personal qualities listed in the job description using examples where appropriate.
Your application form should be completed and returned to Yvonne Pillinger at Wildlife Trusts Wales, Baltic House, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff, CF10 5FHor emailed to by 12 o’clock on Thursday 26thSeptember 2013. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Yours sincerely
