Free summer engineering event for 6-8th grade girls on Saturday July 12, 2014 Sponsored by Purdue Women in Engineering Program Please sign up online to join us at Purdue University (West Lafayette) for this FREE event: “Engineering FYI: For Your Imagination” on Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). You’ll learn about being an engineer and how Purdue engineers are helping to change the world in which we live! Activities and role models in this program are geared toward girls who are currently in 6-8th grade.

Participants rotate through hands-on engineering activities facilitated by female undergraduate and graduate engineering students. An informal presentation will be offered for parents to assist them in continuing to encourage their child’s interest in engineering.
