POSITION:Head Coaching Position

SALARY AND BENEFITS:Per Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicant must be a minimum of 21 years old;
  • Past experience participating in and/or coaching sport;
  • Working knowledge of sport applying to coach;
  • Knowledge of conditioning, endurance training, and WIAA Rules;
  • Ability to work with athletes individually and as a group, and communicate effectively with athletes, parents, officials, and school staff;
  • Provides Recommendation to Athletic Director for all assistant hires and release of duties;
  • Evaluates all assistant coaches and reports issues to Athletic Director;
  • Willingness to work with football officials and game management;
  • Current First Aid/CPR Card;
  • Willingness to participate in District Safety Program;
  • Washington State Patrol Background Check;
  • F.B.I. Fingerprint Check (must be completed prior to employment);
  • Driving abstract – provided with application (available at dept. of lic.).

SELECTION PROCEDURE:Applicants must submit a letter of interest, complete with a resume of prior work experience and have a completed District application form on file. Those applicants judged most qualified for the position will be invited for an interview.
