Guess What? We Are Going on a Field Trip! the 7Th Grade Is Going to See a Christmas Story

Guess what? We are going on a Field Trip! The 7th grade is going to see A Christmas Story at Collierville’s Harrell Theatre on DECEMBER 9th. We will see the matinee performance. We won’t have space for any parents, but we would love it if ALL of our 7th graders attend with us.

Students will need to send in $12 to cover the ticket, the pizza for lunch, and for the busses that will get us there. Please send in a $12 check made payable to CMS or send in $12 EXACT change by Tuesday, November 3rd.

We will not be able to accept any money after Tuesday, November 3rd because we have to send Harrell Theatre our exact number of students attending the play.

After the play, we will go back to CMS and eat Domino’s pizza. Your child will need to bring his or her own drink that day to go with the pizza. We will also ask (a little closer to the date) for parents to send in chips and store-bought desserts for the students to eat with their pizza.

For our trip to the theatre, the students should dress nicely, so we can represent CMS well! Guys could wear khaki’s and polo-style shirts or button-downs, and the young ladies could wear dresses or very dressy pantswith a dressy top. No jeans will be allowed. If a student shows up in jeans, he or she will not be allowed to attend the play.

We are going to have a great time! Please send in your permission form and fee as soon as possible.
