Greetings HMS families,
This is a note concerning the Christmas program details. I will try to make this as brief as possible.
Program: December 7th, Friday, at Petra Christian Fellowship, New Holland, Pa. Doors will open at 6:30. Program will start promptly at 7:00 PM.
Kindergarten students:
Clothing: dress up clothes. Dresses or skirts for girls, nice pants and shirt for boys. No jeans, t-shirts, or sweatpants please.
Time and place: students are to meet Mrs. Burkholder in the side lobby area to line up at 7:50. Students will return to parents for the remainder of the program once they have sung.
1st & 2nd grade students:
Clothing: dress up clothes. Dresses or skirts for girls, nice pants and shirt for boys. No jeans, t-shirts, or sweatpants please.
Time and place: students are to meet Mrs. Rodgers and Mrs. Heisey in the side lobby area to line up at 7:50. Students will return to parents for the remainder of the program once they have sung.
3rd & 4th grade students:
Clothing: dress up clothes. Dresses or skirts for girls, nice pants and shirt for boys. No jeans, t-shirts, or sweatpants please.
Time and place: students are to meet Miss Leaman and Mrs. Raiser at the side lobby area to line up at the beginning of the offering. Please sit with parents until this time.
5th grade students:
Clothing: casual mall clothing. Jeans are fine however, if you do wear a t-shirt, please make sure it does not have writing on it. If you would like to dress up, that is perfectly fine as well. You always see people dressed up as well as casual in a mall setting. Those students that are in costume please have your costume clothes on at the beginning of the program. There will be no time to change before you go on stage.
Time and place: students are to meet Mr Moyer in the back of the lobby area in your groups of 4 or 5 at the beginning of the offering. Be ready to come down the aisles as you sing.
All Middle School students:
Clothing: Boys: black dress pants, dark socks, white button down dress shirt, tie.
Ladies: Black skirt, red/green/white/black shirt (no writing on shirt).
Time and Place: Times will vary depending on the group you are in. Please meet in the back of the lobby area to line up and I will let you know during rehearsal when that time will be. Middle school will sit together in order at a designated place in the auditorium. *** Please meet me in the side lobby are to warm up at 6:30.
Instrumental students: Please have your instruments on stage and tuned up. Meet together in the side lobby area to tune together. I will meet you there at 6:40.
Parents, if you have graciously loaned me set items, please take them with you at the end of the evening. A HUGE thank you for your items!
3/4/5 grade: We will be going to Landis Homes on Thursday, Dec 6 in the morning to a dress performance. Students will be back at school by lunchtime.
Entire school body: On Friday during the day, Dec 7th, we will have a mass rehearsal at Petra Christian Fellowship. Teachers will be coming with their classes and they will travel there and back by school bus.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call. Remember, this is a required event for all HMS students. Please feel free to invite friends and family, as there is plenty of room. I know the talent God has given HMS students will bless you! I know that I have been blessed over and over again.
