The newest chapter of the ASPE is developing now in Richmond and we would like to invite you and all your estimating friends and associates to our next program—THURSDAY, APRIL 22,at5:30 PM.

WHO will be there:CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY, GUESTSAND VISITORS.Please invite a guest, even if you are one yourself!

WHAT we’ll be doing:Christopher G. Hill, Esq., LEED AP, an attorney with DurretteBradshaw PLC, will discuss some of the “Pitfalls” of contract language, including “pay when paid,” bonding, liquidated damages, and other common clauses found in construction contracts, from the various perspectives of GC’s, CM’s and subs.

WHERE we’ll meet: IN THE BAYROOMAT THE HOLIDAY INN AT 3207 N. BOULEVARD, RICHMOND, ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BUILDERS EXCHANGE.(CALL804-359-9441FOR DIRECTIONS). We will have our social hour at 5:30 PM. You can purchase drinks from the bar and food from the restaurant menu. There is no charge for the program, but there is a suggested $10.00 donation toward expenses from those able to contribute. After the social hour, the presentation will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by time for questions.
