We, the Department of Visual Communication, Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science, cordially invite you to the 9thAsan Video Awards 2015 (AVA), a national level competition. AVA is an attempt to encourage the budding filmmakers enrolled as students in various Colleges/Institutions all over India. The competition is held under four categories.

We are looking forward for the entries to reach us on or before 10th February, 2015. The nominated entries will be screened at the 9thAsan Video Awards - 2015 by the last week of February, 2015 and the prizes will be awarded to the winners. The prize winners from the local entries can claim their awards only in person.

  • Passport size photo of the participant to affix
  • Photocopy of the Id card attested by the Head Of Department/Head of the Institution
  • DVD Copy of the program in any one of the mentioned formats in Guide Lines
  • Hard copy of the Synopsis

GUIDE LINES FOR THE ENTRIES:

  1. Category Duration
  2. Short Film -10 to 15 Min
  3. Documentary -8 to 12 Min
  4. Animation film -3 to 5 Min
  5. Ad/PSA film-30 to 60 Sec
  6. Use separate entry form for each entry
  7. Program should be in MPEG 4, AVI, MOV Formats
  8. Subtitle in English is Mandatory
  9. Avoid using controversial content and obscene language, picture and photographs
  10. Last date for submission 10th February, 2015
  11. Films for entry should have been produced only after 2013
  12. No entry fee.
