“THE OLYMPICS – GO FOR THE GOLD” Theme

Greenfield-Central High School invites you to participate in the Fall Homecoming Parade. Any organization that would like to participate and is willing to provide their own float, or walking unit is encouraged to participate in the Homecoming Parade.

The Parade will be at 4:30 p.m. onFriday, September 9, 2016. Line up will be at the back of

GIS/Harris School immediately after school is out.

There have been some rules set for those participating in the Homecoming Parade. Please follow these rules so we can have a safe parade.

  1. NO CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 12 WILL BEALLOWED TO WALK IN THE PARADE.
  2. No walkers BESIDE the float, vehicle
  3. No sitting along the edge of the float wagon. Everyone will either be sitting on the floor of the float, or on an object on the float. No jumping off of the float.
  4. Must be wrapped candy and someone walking, passing it out along the Parade route. DO NOT THROW CANDY FROM THE FLOATS OR WALKING UNITS.
  5. Walkers may walk behind the float with an adult.
  6. Identify your entry with a banner stating the organization name.
  7. All entries must have an adult accompanying the entry.
  8. Anyone driving a vehicle in the parade must have a background check. Deadline for background check is Sept. 1st

The Parade route will be: Leaving Harris/GIS Parking lot to Oak Boulevard, to Park Avenue, To Noble

Street, To North Street, to Broadway. All entries will disband at the Harris/GIS parking lot, where the Parade started. Exception: G-CHS football team, class floats will go into the high school parking lot.
