Rimini, 5th April 2016 – With Ecomondo and Key Energy the “Italian-made green technology” is becoming a key actor in five continents. In fact, the 32-date international road show that Rimini Fiera has scheduled in collaboration with the Ministry for the Environment, Emilia Romagna Region and the main trade associations to present the expos dedicated to the “environment system“ which from 8th to 11th November will hold their 20th editions gets into top gear this month. Ecomondo and Key Energy are following up on the record set in 2015 of 103,514 trade visitors, of whom over 11,000 were from abroad and 500 international buyers.

After the first six missions already staged in Brazil, Texas, Abu Dhabi, Germany, France and Spain, in the first week of April the Rimini Fiera road show was in Florida and Malaysia.

But the “poker” of dates is scheduled for the next eight days: from in Wednesday Russia (Saint Petersburg for the Ecology of Big Cities event), Thursday in Sofia (at the Save the Planet expo), then next Monday at the CIC Kassel Forum and Bauma, both in Germany.

In this month, a total of nine appointments are scheduled, with participation in the ISWA Cooperation Conference on Healthcare Waste (London), ISWA Study Tour on Collection, Sorting & Recycling (Vienna) and REW (Istanbul).

Also worthy of note are the dates that will be staged in coming months in India, China, Iran and Singapore, as well as from 23rd to 25th May in Oman, a nation that aims at being the leader of a new green perspective in the Gulf.

The format involves the presentation at each date by members of the two scientific committees, chaired by Prof. Fabio Fava (Ecomondo) and Prof. Gianni Silvestrini (Key Energy), as well as the presentation of the enterprises that are the key players on the missions.

From October 4th to 6th, the second edition will be held of Ecomondo Brazil which, following last year’s excellent debut, intends presenting the global market increasingly innovative equipment and solutions for sustainable development, with focuses on the Water, Waste and Renewable Energies sectors, as well as facilitating contacts between investors in the green economy in Brazil and potential foreign business partners.

There is a twin aim: asserting the Ecomondo brand as the world showcase for all key players of the circular economy and, thus, accompanying the leading Italian companies and their environmental technologies for meetings with the most receptive markets.

Precisely the introductory speech at the last edition of the States General of the Green Economy, held at Rimini Fiera last November, stressed the decisive value that companies’ “green” component has in internationalization activity: 26.5% of “core green core” companies export (manufacturers of ecological quality goods and environmental services) and 19.8% of “go green” companies (those with green management models), compared to an average of 12% of the other enterprises.

Other figures, also reported at the States General of the Green Economy, showed the perspective to be followed, for example, in the world of renewable energy: China is increasing its investments by 32% (89 billion dollars), the US market is growing by 8%, in Japan by 12%, and in Canada by 26%. Brazil’s investments are rising to almost 8 billion dollars, as are India’s.
