GREEK/ROMAN TRADING CARD PROJECT

Task: Create a 9x12 Greek trading card.

Similar to a baseball card, side one needs to portray the Greek or Romangod/creature you have chosen and side two needs to portray the individual in modern society that you have connected with your Greek or Roman. Please see Mrs. Reese to get approval of your choices.

SIDE 1-GREEK GOD OR CREATURE10 points ______

Choose a mythical character that you would like to research. Please do the following:

SIDE 2-MODERN-DAY INDIVIDUAL10 points ______

Choose a modern day person that your mythical creature can make a connection.

RESEARCH10 points ______

  • Note Cards: A minimum of 10 note cards(in noodletools) is required. Five for each subject. Take as many notes as you can. When you are ready to make your trading card, choose the five best facts for each area.
  • Bibliography: Use noodletools to create your bibliography. Please include at least four different and reliable sources for your research. This will be turned in on a separate sheet of paper and in the correct format. (Encyclopedias are a good starting point.)

CONNECTION-REFLECTION10 points _____

  • In a one page typed paper, connect the two individuals you researched. In the paper, also reflect upon the two individuals and how you came to your decision.
  • One page, double-spaced.
