Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation is the voluntary sector support organisation for the Greater Manchester city region. GMCVO Databases is a successful small business returning profits to the charity, specialising in open source software implementation, installation,training, and ongoing support.We have a broad and growing customer base from a range of voluntary and charitable groups.
We’re looking for an additional team member to provide technical support through good customer service. As the first contact point with clients and customers, the successful applicant will be experienced in customer service, with an excellent grasp of web-based systems and the ability to learn more about our open-source systems (based on Drupal/PHP/CiviCRM), manage and prioritise support requests.
The successful applicant will be aware of, and have some hands-on experience using, web technologies and languages including HTML, CSS and PHP; they will be prepared to develop additional skills and knowledge. They will be able to work on multiple support tickets at the same time, collaborate and involve othersto effectively problem solving and communicatingclearly with clients to support them in using the systems we build.
