ICE008 FAQ

  1. Out bound setting

“Grandstream ATA” is only for HT488, you must select 2 stages dialing on HT488. For others, HT503, GXW410x, choose one stage dialing; do not check “Grandstream ATA”.

Phone number field is for the SIP account user ID. For example, a SIP account with DID and “abe123” (include alphabet) as the user ID, put “abe123” into the “Phone number” field.

Start a new browser; you will be able to enter to the configuration pages again.

  1. Record Greeting
  2. Record business hour greeting -- Pickup the handset, press "*01"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record business hour greeting. Use following as our business hour greeting: "Welcome to OvisLink. If you know the party's extension, please enter it any time. Enter 1 for sales, 2 for support, 3 for accountingor press 0 for operator." Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back. There is no prompt for review. Press 7777 to review it.
  3. Record lunch hour greeting -- Pickup the handset, press "*04"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record lunch hour greeting. We don’t have lunch hour, use the same business hour greeting: "Welcome to OvisLink. If you know the party's extension, please enter it any time. Enter 1 for sales, 2 for support, 3 for accountingor press 0 for operator." Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back.
  4. Record none business hour greeting -- Pickup the handset, press "*07"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record none business hour greeting. Use the same business hour greeting: "Welcome to OvisLink. Our business hours are from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. If you reach us in after hours, please call us back in business hours. If you would like to leave message, please enter the extension number, or enter 1 for sales, 2 for support, 3 for accounting to leave message." Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back.

Change time zone on the ICE008 to make it business hour, and none business hour then press 7777 to review company greeting. Change lunch time, then press 7777 to review lunch time greeting.

(Change time zone –After login to the ICE008, click at “time zone” at left column to change time zone, click at “general setting” to change lunch time.)

  1. No answer greeting – Pickup the handset, press "*20"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record no answer greeting. Use following as no answer greeting: “Sorry, the party you called is not available. Please press *99 to leave a message. We’ll call you back as soon as possible.” Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back.
  2. Busy greeting – Pickup the handset, press "*21"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record busy greeting. Use following as no answer greeting: “Sorry, the party you called is on the phone. Please press *99 to leave a message. We’ll call you back as soon as possible.” Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back.
  3. No off line greeting – Pickup the handset, press "*22"; it will ask for password. The password is "8512". It will ask to record off line greeting. Use following as no answer greeting: “Sorry, the party you called is not available. Please press *99 to leave a message. We’ll call you back as soon as possible.” Wait for 5 seconds; then press the phone hook to hand up instead of putting the handset back.

To review the greeting recorded, from one extension call another extension. Don’t pickup the called extension when hear the ring to review no answer greeting, of hood to review busy greeting, disconnect to review off line greeting).
