Fall 2017

About Our Company

Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) is a privately held and locally owned company that has been in business for more than 30 years as the developers of Gold Point Resort, Grand Timber Lodge, the Grand Lodge on

Peak 7 and its newest resort Grand Colorado on Peak 8.Breckenridge Grand Vacations constructed, sells and proudly manages each of these timeshare resorts. BGV employs more than 500 individuals and offers five-star lodging accommodations to more than 25,000 owners. Created in 1984, Breckenridge Grand Vacations was built by brothers Mike and Rob Millisor and friend Mike Dudick upon the belief that the success of their company would be determined by the positive impact it has on their owners and guests, employees, and the community; which has given them the focus for their incredible success in the vacation ownership business in Breckenridge.

Approach to Community Giving

The owners of Breckenridge Grand Vacations are deeply committed to supporting the communities in Summit and Park Counties. In addition to their personal involvement, the owners of Breckenridge Grand Vacations believe they have an obligation to financially support the many nonprofit agencies that make Summit and Park Counties such wonderful places to live, work and play. To that end, Breckenridge Grand Vacations has established a Community Giving Program designed to make grant and sponsorship funding available to the nonprofit agencies serving these two counties.

In the Spring of 2016, BGV Gives was created to facilitate and further extend Breckenridge Grand Vacation’s philanthropic reach and impact. Inspired by the late BGV Owner/Developer Rob Millisor, this charitable program honors his example of service to others by supporting the local nonprofit community. Breckenridge Grand Vacations will continue Rob’s legacy of giving through fundraising, sponsorships, grants, volunteerism and in-kind donations on behalf of those in need, with a primary focus on health, human services and education.

General Purpose of Grant Process and Funding

Breckenridge Grand Vacations has been contributing to a wide array of community nonprofit organizations and programs in Summit and Park Counties for many years. The application process is designed to capture all the information that we need to evaluate your request and make funding decisions. Grant and event sponsorship requests for more than $1,000 and up to $20,000; including in-kind goods and services, should use this application and process. Grant and event sponsorship requests for $1,000 or less and/or requests for

in-kind goods and services ONLY should use the application designated for that purpose. Please note: while we will continue to accept requests of $1,000 or less and/or in-kind goods and services submitted throughout the year with a general guideline of 30 days prior to the deadline for the requested donation, we prefer that the requests be submitted at one of the two designated deadlines each year. (April 1 or October 1)
