CLASS 1 Harley Mini Individual (10 years & under)

Dressage: The Pony Club D Level Dressage Test Walk & Trot

Show Jumps & Cross Country approx. 45cm-55 cm. Dressage test may be read but will incur 5 penalties. SJ & XC course built in an enclosed field & friendly, inviting design to welcome beginners). XC will not be timed.

CLASS 2 Harley Junior Individual (12 years & under)

Dressage: The Pony Club C Level Dressage Test

Show Jumps & Cross Country approx. 60cm-70cm. Dressage test may be read but will incur 5 penalties.SJ & XC course will be built in an enclosed field & designed to be a friendly, inviting & welcoming introduction. XC will not be timed.

CLASS 3 Harley Novice Individual

Dressage: Pony Club Introductory Dressage Test 2007. Show Jumps & Cross Country approx. 75cm XC will not be timed

Section A: Combination not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any ODE

Section B: Open to all competitors

CLASS 4 Harley Intermediate Individual

Dressage: Pony Club Novice Eventing Test 2013. Show Jumps & Cross Country approx 85cm. XC based on optimum time published at course walk.

Section A: Combination not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any ODE

Section B: Open to all competitors

CLASS 5 Harley Open Individual

Dressage: BE 100 Dressage Test 101 (2009)Show Jumps and Cross Country max height 100cm . XC based on optimum time published at course walk

Class 3 (Section A): Tim Brown Challenge Cup

Class 4 (Section A): Stan West Challenge Cup

Rosettes to 8th place & best dressage & highest placed Grafton member in each Class/Section.

ENTRY FEES:

Classes 1 & 2 Grafton & Non Grafton Members: £30.00

Classes 3-5 Grafton Members: £38.00

Visitors Classes 3-5:£42.00

Medical Charge per competitor £4.00

All entries subject to non-refundable booking fee£1.25

  • SCHEDULES AND STARTING TIMES:
  • Competitors asked to provide their own number bibs for classes 3-5
  • Times available on Thursday 2nd June from 6pm.
  • The course may be walked from 2pm on the day before the competition. NB please note that Classes 1 & 2 will not be available to walk once the cross country phase of the first class has commenced.
  • Veterinary and medical cover provided. Refreshments available.
  • Foxhill Farm is located ½ mile south of Moreton Pinkney on Thorpe Mandeville Rd. Please follow signs & approach from this direction, not via Eydon or Cannons Ashby. A one-way system will be in operation to ensure traffic flow.

ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. This event will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Eventing Rules 2015, modified where applicable. All competitors must wear fastened hard hats complying with this Rule Book PAS015,EN1384, AS/NZS38381998, ASTMF1163, SNELLE2001) when mounted. Riding at anytime without a hat will result in elimination. Body protectors to correct standards and Medical Armbands must be worn during the Cross Country phase. Hats must be tagged before the first phase of the competition.

2. Riders MUST retire from the competition after a fall.

3. Horse/pony may only compete once.

4. The Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry without giving a reason & to alter the programme if weather or other conditions require. In the event of cancellation, entry fees less £10.00 per person will be refunded on receipt of SAE by 30th June 2016.

5. Neither the Committee nor person acting on their behalf accepts any responsibility for loss, damage, accident or injury to horses/pony riders, or any other persons or property whatsoever.

6. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times when mounted and for dismounted prize giving.

7. No practice over any part of the Course is allowed at any time.

8. Only competing and stewards horses allowed at the event.

9. Competitors who, for transport and other reasons, would like to have times near one another please state this clearly on the entry form.

10. Age as on 1st January 2016.

11. The Organisers reserve the right to section classes according to age and date of birth.

12. Photographer: By entry to this competition, competitors agree to being photographed by the official photographer.

13. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL.

14. Entry fees are non refundable unless withdrawn before the closing date. A vet or doctor’s certificate must accompany withdrawals.

15. All competitors will be expected to ride at their allotted times. Failure to do so may incur elimination.

16. Non PC members must be covered by their own insurance.

17. Veterinary cover will be provided on the day, all fees to be met by the individual.

All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Grafton Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
