·  Completion of all graduation requirements, full payment of student fees, and the return of all RHS books and materials is mandatory to participate in the Graduation Ceremony on June 15th.

·  Sr. Recognition Breakfast: this event is a celebration of students who have received a 3.5 or above GPA, RHS Department Student of the Year recipients, and Athletics Awards recipients. To participate student fees must be paid to the bookkeeper. Students are encouraged to invite two guests.

·  Sr. Awards Night: this event is a celebration of students who have been awarded scholarships for higher education from colleges, universities, private and professional foundations and the military. Students who accepted to a college, trade school or military-bound without a scholarship will also recognized. Students will wear their cap and gown. To participate student fees must be paid to the bookkeeper. Students are encouraged to invite their families to join in the celebration.

·  Commencement Ticket distribution: Each Senior will receive tickets (quantity to be determined after 1st semester is completed) to distribute among family and friends. RHS has a large number of graduating seniors, we regret we do not have any extra tickets to share. Tickets will be available for pickup in the RHS main office Tuesday June 13th, and Wednesday June 14th from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Tickets can also be picked up before and after commencement practice on Thursday, June 15th however the main office will close at 3:00pm. To qualify to receive graduation tickets each student must compete all graduation requirements, return school materials and books, complete a short Sr. survey in C-4 and pay all outstanding fees to the bookkeeper.

·  Attendance, from start to finish, at the Student Commencement Practice, held the morning of June 15th is mandatory to participate in the ceremony. Transportation from RHS will be provided.

·  The Class of 2017 has worked hard to meet a set of rigorous graduation requirements that lead to meaningful post high school opportunities. The staff of Reynolds High School works diligently to provide a quality graduation ceremony that celebrates these accomplishments. Consequently, we require graduating seniors to wear traditional robes and caps without any adornments, only items issued by the school may be worn during the ceremony. Please respect the importance of this event by not bringing in noisemakers or other items that detract from the significance of the evening. We share in the pride of your student’s achievements and look forward to celebrating them with you on graduation night.
