Compare the previous year’s performance to the current one. Compare other groups scores to our own.
Analyze errors, and see how they match up with the judges sheets/tapes / Use blank judges sheets to help peers improve on the preparation of solos, audition material, and individual parts within the ensemble.
Using the criteria, make judgments on solo ensemble, all-state auditions, southwest honor band auditions and large group preparation. Use that information to improve the preparation of repertoire.
Using judges criteria, critique any student auditioning for scholarships.
