Government Girls Primary School Mouza Jhanb(The Big Read)

The Big Read Session was organized in the school. A large number of the students of the school participated in the session. This was an interesting activity for the children. They were very excited by reading and listening different stories. They were so attentive towards listening the stories that when any student takes mistake during reading the paragraph from the continued story, they said “oooh” and invite next student to continue.

It was very enthusiastic for them to making their hand prints with different colors on the banner. School Council members and some parents attended the session. The people appreciated the Celebration of the big Read. “ITA is not only working on the infrastructures and to improve quality of education but also refreshes the students minds with co-curricular activities”, said Asmat Noor who was recently appointed by ITA as para teacher.

Miss Bushra :( School Council member) Thanked Idara Taleem-o- Aagahi and Oxfam for the celebration of Education For All Week in the school.

From class five Basree Bibi thanked ITA/Oxfam/Dubai Cares for the entertainment through The Big Read Session. She said that all the students enjoyed by participating it and added that ITA/Oxfam is the first who organized the interesting Big Read Session and celebrated Education For All Week.

Mouza Jhanb is a backward village of district Jhang where the school comprises of only one room and one varanda. It was running without electricity, water, wash room and other facilities since last many years but now the villagers seemed committed towards investing some cash and kind in the school.
